deep learning (layer\hierarchy features visualization)

Is there any instrument to visualize learned features from different levels of abstractions using deep learning?

for example 1st level looks like

but I want to see other levels.

If the image you showed here is from Lee et al 2010 (CDBM paper) (which I suspect it is), then these filters are from the second layer, not the first layer.
