Does anyone know where I can find information on evaluation of Stanford NER and Apache Open NLP 1.5 NER to get comparative results? Thanks a lot for any help.

There's actually very little in the way of comparisons that include OpenNLP NER, but here's one paper that has what you want: Comparison of Named Entity Recognition tools for raw OCR text. All the performance number are very modest compared to what you see with same domain train/test newswire NER, but the noisy text and wild domain difference is sometimes more representative of how these tools are used in the wild.

Dearest professor, thank you very much! This article is what I need.

I cannot point you to any specific evaluation but based on experience with both of them, I would suggest that Stanford NER is much better than OpenNLP both from the point of view of accuracy and ease of use.
