Hi,

Are there any courses on deep learning? I see twikis and materials on them at Stanford, Toronto and Montreal. But are there any courses(advanced or papers) that are teaching deep learning.

I have already seen the coursera by Hinton but are there university courses.

Thanks

There are university courses at all the universities you mentioned and probably also at NYU that cover a lot of deep learning material, although I don't know if the Stanford one is still being taught regularly while Andrew Ng is spending his time running Coursera.

Russ Salakhutdinov and Geoff Hinton teach at Toronto, Yann LeCun teaches at NYU, and Yoshua Bengio teaches at Montreal. There may be others I am not aware of as well. You can also look at former PhD students of these professors that have gone on to academic positions and see what they are teaching.
