I found a "good books" and "good learning" questions, and figured that since this is also an important communication channel, we might share some of the most influential blogs in Machine Learning.

The ones I follow are:

BTW, one way to find machine learning blogs is to go to Google Blog Search on the eve of some Machine Learning conference and search for the conference name. Works for UAI/ECML/ICML. Searching for NIPS mainly gives posts about nipples, unfortunately.

Some more I read on a regular basis:

Edit: added the very didactic blog by Mathieu Blondel introducing all the major machine learning algorithms with readable python implementation published as gists.

Yeah, was gonna mention Mathieu Blondel here. The guy deserves some credit for making those implementations available.

I keep a list of machine learning related blogs as part of Inductio Ex Machina. I plan to update it with some of the recommendations made here.

Here are the one's I'd pick for a short-list:

Although not directly about machine learning, Maxim Raginsky's The Information Structuralist blog on information theory is well worth adding to your feed reader too.
