Is anyone using a service or API for NER? If there were an API or service for NER, assuming it offered good coverage of your domain, would you use it? |

i've been using the package from basis technologies (www.basistech.com). the upside is that you get access to a bunch of "basic" language processing capabilities for a number of languages, the downside is that you cannot alter those capabilities to suit your particular needs. |
