Hello, I am quite a newbie in this area: which are the boosting methods for regression systems? I know about Gradient boosting; are there any other approaches? are there textbooks or tutorials devoted to this area? |

There are a number of approaches listed in Google Scholar under your title: Try here. If you are doing this for research, I recommend reading everything on at least the first page of that result (even if its not your main area). If you are doing this 'to get a project done', I recommend reading "Boosting methodology for regression problems" by Ridgeway, Madigan, and Richardson. |
