Hi,

I'm hoping to use the data mining M5P algorithm provided by Weka to do some prediction for sales forecasting of a dairy product. I'm importing the Weka API to my Java application. My data set has 7 attributes, indicating the year, month, province, outlet, product SKU, volume in metric tonnes and volume in quantity.

I have data for just one year... How will I be able to separate the testing set from this and can I use the data as it is? What I'm hoping to predict is the volume that will be sold for the next year.

Any insight on how this solution could be approached will be very much appreciated! Thanks a tonne in advance!
